OUTCOME
The person knows what they want to make true.
Next Premise helps people define the Outcome they intend, identify the coherent nervous-system State required to support it, and use creative Action through The Yoga of Creativity to establish, restore or maintain that State. Evidence verifies what is working. Recalibration preserves coherence as conditions change.
A person can know exactly what they want, understand what they need to do and still be unable to move forward. Human OSA™ starts from a simple premise: when the nervous system is not coherent, the State required to support the Outcome is not available.
The person knows what they want to make true.
If the nervous system is not coherent, the State needed to support the Outcome is not available.
Creative Action is used to establish, restore or maintain the coherent State required to support the Outcome.
Creative Action is used to establish or restore coherence. Daily creative Action then helps maintain that coherence proactively so the person can continue moving toward and sustaining the Outcome.
Active creative engagement has been associated with measurable changes in autonomic nervous-system activity and physiological stress markers, including heart-rate variability and cortisol.
This evidence supports the Human OSA™ premise that creative Action can influence the physiological State from which a person acts.
Next Premise applies our proprietary OSA™ framework, Outcome → State → Action, to connect the Outcome a person intends to the coherent nervous system State required to support it and the creative Action used to establish, restore or maintain that State.
What do you want to make true?
Define the intended Outcome and the evidence that will show whether it is being achieved and sustained.
What State must exist to support the Outcome?
For Human OSA™, the Required State is a coherent nervous system.
What will establish, restore or maintain that State?
The Yoga of Creativity is the central Action methodology. The creative medium may vary, but the purpose of the Action does not.
For Human OSA™, the Required State is coherence: a nervous system capable of directed action rather than reaction. State is not another process to complete. It is the condition from which a person acts.
Where is the nervous system now?
Read the current State and determine whether it can support the Outcome and the level of Action being asked of it.
What State does the Outcome require?
The Required State is coherence sufficient to support directed Action and continued movement toward the Outcome.
Human OSA™ reads two things: the level of coherence available now and the conditions under which Action is most likely to break.
Is there enough coherence for what is being asked?
A recurring measure of current nervous-system State establishes how much can reasonably be attempted and identifies when State has fallen below what the work requires.
Where is Action most likely to break?
The profile identifies the conditions under which a person’s creative practice is most likely to fail, allowing the Action to be adapted before movement stops.
The MOS Method™ is the proprietary Human State methodology used to diagnose the Observed State and guide movement toward coherence.
State tells us what the nervous system can currently support. It does not tell the person what to do. Action changes the State.
In Human OSA™, Action is The Yoga of Creativity: deliberate creation used to establish, restore or maintain the coherent State required for movement toward the Outcome. The methodology is built on a specific premise: the act of creating runs the eight-limbed architecture of yoga as an integrated practice.
Make something.
Creation is the practice applied to the current State.
Change the condition from which action occurs.
The purpose of the practice is to establish, restore or maintain coherence.
Move toward what matters.
A coherent State supports continued movement toward the intended Outcome.
Yoga here is not synonymous with physical postures. The Yoga of Creativity maps creation across the eight-limbed system of yoga, bringing ethics, self-discipline, body, breath, sensory withdrawal, concentration and absorption into the act of making.
How the maker operates in relation to the work, the self and the world.
How the maker cares for and disciplines the self within the practice.
The body settles into sustained posture and holds.
Breath changes as the maker settles into the act.
The environment recedes as attention turns toward what is being made.
Attention holds to one object across time.
Attention becomes increasingly unbroken and absorbed.
Not claimed. It remains where the yogic tradition places it.
Human OSA™ defines creation by three conditions. The quality of the artifact is not the measure; what matters is what occurs during the act of making.
The Yoga of Creativity is not only a response to a nervous system that has already shifted out of coherence. Creative Action can restore State when coherence has been disrupted, but the practice is designed to be used daily so coherence can also be maintained before movement stops.
Creative Action can be used to re-establish the State needed for directed movement when stress, disruption or changing conditions have reduced the person’s capacity to act.
Daily creative practice helps maintain the State required for continued movement, making it possible to respond to changing conditions before dysregulation becomes the point of intervention.
Human OSA™ uses ongoing State evidence to notice change early. The purpose is not to eliminate disruption, but to preserve enough coherence to keep moving, restore it when necessary and recalibrate before the intended Outcome becomes unreachable.
Observe what the nervous system can currently support.
Use creative Action to establish, restore or maintain coherence.
Use evidence to determine whether State is holding and movement continues.
Adjust the practice, pace, support or Outcome as conditions change.
The goal is sustained movement, not permanent calm. Coherence is maintained, restored and recalibrated in service of the Outcome.
The Flow State™ is a guided, practice-based introduction to Human OSA™. Participants bring an Outcome or work they want to move forward, read the State they are acting from, support a shift toward coherence and use creative Action to begin moving again.
What do you want to move forward?
Bring an Outcome, piece of work or meaningful next step that has stopped moving.
What State are you acting from?
Read the current nervous-system State and identify what the nervous system can support now.
What helps restore coherence?
Use breath, gentle movement and attention practices to support a shift toward a more coherent State.
What becomes possible from the changed State?
Create from that State and experience the relationship between creative Action, coherence and directed motion.
The Flow State™ introduces the relationship among Outcome, State and creative Action. The longer-term value is a repeatable practice a person can use to establish, restore and sustain coherence beyond the workshop itself.
The aim is not a one-time feeling. It is learning how to work with State deliberately so movement toward the Outcome can continue.

Human OSA™ can be applied to any human Outcome. The Yoga of Creativity is not the destination. It is the Action methodology used to establish, restore or maintain the coherent State from which a person can move toward what matters.
Something meaningful that needs to start.
Something important that has stalled.
Something that needs to become different.
Something worth continuing over time.
Across Human OSA™, coherence remains the Required State and The Yoga of Creativity remains the central Action methodology used to support it.
Creative Action serves the Outcome. The Outcome itself does not have to be creative.
Human OSA™ begins with the Outcome, reads the State from which a person is acting, and uses creative Action to establish, restore or maintain the coherence required for movement. The Flow State™ is a practical way to experience that relationship.
